Most users start with E-IX 256G at ¥45 per month, which covers typical browsing, streaming and messaging usage. If you transfer large files or run multiple concurrent devices with heavy traffic, the E-IX 512G or E-IX 1024G tiers give you more headroom without changing how the service works.
No. Data allowances reset at the start of each billing cycle and do not carry over. If you consistently finish a cycle with data remaining, the 256G plan is likely the best value. If you regularly exhaust your allowance before the cycle ends, upgrading to 512G or 1024G is the right move.
Plan changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. You can upgrade or downgrade your data tier or switch between billing periods at any time from your account dashboard. The new plan is applied when the current cycle expires.
E-IX does not currently offer a free trial, but the monthly billing period for the E-IX 256G plan at ¥45 per month is the lowest-commitment way to evaluate the service before committing to a longer billing period. If the service does not meet your expectations, you can choose not to renew after the first month.
E-IX accepts payment by credit and debit card, Alipay and WeChat Pay. All prices are displayed and charged in CNY. If you are paying from outside mainland China, currency conversion is handled by your card issuer or payment provider at their current exchange rate.
